LIZ WARDLEY & TIC TAC
Liz grew up fishing in Papua New Guinea and had a passion for Ocean adventures from an early age. She is an offshore sailor having taken part in The Ocean Race four times.
Apart from an addiction with boats, she also kitesurfs, wingfoils, SUP’s and is always up for an adventure.
With nearly 1,000,000nm logged over most of the world’s oceans she’s ready for a new challenge.
The Mighty Tic Tac
With over 18,000 miles rowing experiences from the team, Rannoch Adventure have put everything they know into the design and build process of the R25. It is an evolution of the company's earliest record breaking model, the R20, but with up to date technology and construction methods.
Rannoch 25, overall length 7.3 metres. Empty weight 250kg, fully loaded starts at 900kg. “They are a well tried and tested design and have a great success rate”
The Crew
Liz isn’t alone at sea, she has Barney and Javier along for the ride also!
Barney isn’t a stranger to offshore adventures, having joined Liz on all her sailing exploits for a while now.
Javier is a newer member to the team, he’s an crocadilo who identifies as a dinosaur. He came as Liz’s pillow in the cabin but ended up being a wedge to stop Liz from being rolled about by the waves.
