Bronze medal, Hobie 16 World Championship

I learnt how to sail on Hobie 16's when someone thought I was the right weight to be there crew. At first I hated the idea of sailing as I was a fishing nut. Once we went out in windy, rough conditions and we capsized a few times - I was hooked. We trained nearly every day for months and months, it was my first taste of international competition.
