Hawaii to Marshall Islands Solo row

Independent Row

  • 41 days, 21 hours

  • First and only solo woman to row this route

  • Most remote row: no boats, no planes overhead for 39 days

  • No race, no record to chase, just me and the ocean

“This one was different. There was no race. No record to chase. No one to compete against. For 41 days, I didn't see a single boat. I didn't see a single plane. It was just me and the ocean. My family thought it was a terrible idea. One of my sisters was convinced she'd never see me again. She told me that the day before I left. But I went anyway. And it became the most rewarding row I've ever done. Sometimes the best challenges are the ones no one else understands. I describe it as ‘The time of my life’ ”.
